What is Reiki?
We have many energy centres in the human body that an unseen life force flows through, these areas are called our Chakra's. Chakra's act like vortices, flowing energy into the through the body and creating balance. When we are under stress the flow of energy through our bodies stagnates and becomes blocked. Changes begin to take place and slowly we become ill. Illness is the bodies way of getting attention. Through Reiki, we can uncover the source of our disease and begin the process of healing our bodies on both a physical and emotional level.What does the treatment invlolve?
Reiki helps to unblock the Chakra's. The reipient simply lies on a couch and relaxes, there is no need to undress, as Reiki will pass through anything. The energy is drawn through the practitioner by the need of the recipient. Working through the Chakra's, the practitioner places their hands in a sequence of positions - working from the crown to the feet. This treatment has many benefits; relaxation, calmness and peace.
